Anyone feel guilty ALL THE TIME? I feel guilty when I am holding one LO and not the other. Then I feel guilty that I am holding a baby and not cleaning my house, doing laundry, etc. Then I do my laundry and clean and I feel guilty that I am not playing with or holding a baby. The only thing that is helping is to hold off until my toddler goes to bed at 8 p.m. and try to get things done then...does the guilt ever get better?!

Re: Oh the guilt!
I try and have the baby laying next to us when DS and I play or she sits on my lap too when we read or play trains. She's always right there with us unless she's napping.
When DD is sleeping, I take DS downstairs with me when I need to do the next load of laundry or vaccum and clean.
I do feel guilty the baby doesn't get enough of my attention so when DS goes to bed, I try and lay with her and play. Or in the morning before he's up. Also, DS is starting to play more independently, so I can coo over her then as well. It will work out and get easier.
I did, but I had to stop! I know its hard but I had to stop feeling guilty about focusing more attention on my 15 month old then my 5 month old. I had to convince myself its quality of time because frankly, my 15 month old spider monkey of a son needs more attention then my littlest guy does. Its just the way it is right now and down the road, I will need to focus more of my time keeping Brannon out of mischief while Sage entertains himself.
I do make sure that Brannon gets the one on one time when Sage is napping. I would LOVE for them to nap at the sametime but since they dont, Brannon and I have mommy time when big brother is sleeping. Its worked out great for us!
