Just trying to pass the time until my doctors office calls me.

    Antagonist- 150 Follistim/150 Menopur, and I'll be adding Ganirelix some time this week.

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    Antagonist, but my embie quality was worse with it.  So, I'm not sure what my next protocol will be.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    I flared with 250 follistim and 150 menopur because I am a poor responder.

    My RE recommended long lupron again with 150 Menopur and 150 Follistim (First cycle was 75 Menopur and 225 Follistim) and bcp lead-in.

    My 2nd opinion RE said no way to that protocol.  They wouldn't tell me what exactly they would do since I'm not technically a patient, but said I needed a more aggressive protocol and no bcps.

    Antagonist...then..... EPP + antagonist then ....EPP + Lupron flare. Now the RE wants to try EPP + antagonist + clomid.

    I always have really fragmented embryos whenever I use Lupron. It just does not work for some women.

    Antagonist.  But, that got me even less eggs than Long Lupron. (I'm a poor responder)

    We then tried EPP+antagonist.   This got me the most eggs I've ever had.

    We are doing EPP again this cycle.

    I did a microdose lupron flare cycle for IVF #2. I also added Menopur.

    I did long lupron with gonal-f the first time. This time the only change is the doctor is adding in Luveris (LH).

    My first IVF attempt was with long lupron, and that cycle was cancelled because I developed a dominant follicle.  My RE thought that I was over suppressed by the lupron.

     For my second IVF attempt, I switched to antagonist, and we got 12 eggs, 10 of which were mature.  

    I guess that my second attempt didn't actually work, but my RE doesn't think that was because of egg quality issues.  I'll be doing antagonist again for IVF #3 next month.

    I did microdose Lupron with 300 u of Follistim in the morning and 300 of Menopur at night.  According to the RE, I had a "more consistent" cyce, but I ended up with less eggs and only one embie to transfer.  But I got a BFP that time, so who knows...  
    TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR 2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
