Good Morning Ladies!

I am so sorry about missing last week's check-in.  I have been sidetracked most of February as my G-Dad had 3 heart attacks in little under a week.  He was sent home last TH b/c the Drs cannot do anything for him anymore and he hasn't felt any better since leaving the hospital either.  Time will only tell what happens.

Please reply to this post with your IVF updates, I will work on the list tonight and re-post it later this evening or tomorrow morning.

My update: IVF #2 was cancelled because of a cyst and my doctor recommended a lap.  It's scheduled for February 24.

Update on me: on last week of estrogen priming protocol. Start BCP Feb 24 & stims on March 13th. IVF #2 is getting underway in March - woo hoo

Update: Today is my last day of BCP. I have a sono/bw tomorrow morning and hope to start stims on Friday.

As we talked about last week, I think I should probably leave the IVF group. We have decided that we will not attempt another IVF cycle.

Thanks for all of your support ladies! It means more to me than you will ever know!

I wish nothing but the best for all of you and will continue to stalk the group to keep up with y'all

So sorry about your grandpa, I hope he gets better soon!

My Update: We re-submited the pre-authorization for our IVF almost three weeks ago, but the insurance company is dragging their feet on approving it, so I am going to have to start cracking some skulls this week. We can't order my meds until we get a pre-auth number for the pharmacy, so until it gets approved we are at a stand still. I am confidant it will get approved, I just hate that it is taking so long.

I am now 4 pounds away from IVF weight, and I still have about four weeks until the start of stims. I am really anxious to get started, I am so tired of thinking about it, I want to be doing it already!

I start Gonal F tonight 600units for 3 days then drop to 225.  Adding Menopur on Thur.  Next monitoring appt is Mon 2/21.  Hoping I have a good response!

I am on aygestin hoping it makes my cyst go away.  I go back next Monday for u/s and b/w.  Hopefully, the cyst will be gone!  I should get AF when I stop the aygestin.  Then I have to wait a cycle before beginning testing with the new RE.  That being said, I won a free cycle with my old RE.  So, I will be discussing cycling with the old RE with the new RE.  But we really want to do testing with the new RE first.  I can't wait to cycle again!

Update: Had first follie check yesterday after 4 nights of stims.  I have 9 follies right now, but they vary in size so I'm hoping the smaller ones catch before the larger ones get too big.  Next check is in the morning.

Update on me:  Started BCP on Friday.  Go in on March 10 for b/w, follow up b/w and u/s on March 14.  If everything looks good, I start stims on March 14 for IVF #2.

This is day 4th day of stims for me. I go in tomorrow for an u/s and we'll see the progress.  They told me estimated retrieval is 2/22.

I'm so sorry about your grandpa. I'll def say some prayers in his direction.

I started Lupron 2/10 for ivf #3. I will start Stims whenever my period starts.

Sorry to hear about your granddad.

No real update for me.  Break this cycle and then when AF starts next cycle have to go in for day 3 bloodwork, start BCP, and start Lupron on day 21 (late March/early April) for IVF #3 in April.  I can't wait!!

IVF #1 was a BFN. We have our WTF appointment tomorrow morning. We will be taking a 3 month break before moving on to IVF #2 to clear our minds and get lose a few pounds.

Update:  I had my baseline appointment this morning.  Waiting to hear from the nurse to see if I can get started with IVF #4.

I'm so sorry to hear about your granddad. 

I am starting BCPs tonight.  Following the same protocol as last time.  Lupron starts in 2 weeks, followed by Gonal-F - just a higher dose of Gonal-F in the beginning to give me a jump start.  Fingers crossed!

Update- had follie check #1 today after 4 nights of stims. 16 follies all the same size- 8 on each side! Tonight they are upping my doseage a bit for tonight tomorrow and wednesday and I go back thurs morning for follie check #2.

 I finished 10 days of stims and trigger tonight for ER on Wed.  We have 50!!!! follicles between 10-22 which sounds like a helluva lot but only about 12 are mature. So have high risk of OHSS, but mostly because of all of the medium sized follicles.  not that I can complain if we get 12, but it would be nice if there were fewer over all and a few more mature.  Oh well

So sorry to hear about your grandfather - I hope that things improve with him soon. 

Update:  I started stims on 2/11 - 300 iu's of follistim in the morning, 150 iu's of menopur in the evening (plus 5 units of lupron).  I also had to start lovenox with my stims - it hasn't been too bad yet, I was advised to ice the area first and I believe that has really helped.  The menopur actually burns worse.

I had my first b/w check today and my E2 was 101 - they said it was right where they wanted to see it, so to stay on the same meds and I go in on Wednesday for more b/w and a u/s.  The plan is still to have the ER and ET next week.

 Update: just finished BCPs on 2/13, going in for baseline u/s and b/w 2/18 and hopefully starting stims that night.
