I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to wear Spanx while pregnant. I don't have too big of bump yet and wearing some Spanx would really help me look decent in some of my clothes and when I need to wear a dress. I

Ditto to PP re: maternity Spanx. They are Spanx's "Power Mama" line, and I wore them once and found them to be comfortable for about 4-6 hours. They really only smooth things out - if you are looking to suck your bump in, I don't think the maternity ones are what you are looking for. Restrictive clothing on me (like Spanx tights) earlier on was just really uncomfortable to the point that it felt dangerous to baby - like constant pressure on the fundus. Maybe it will be different for you - good luck.
I wore them today because my dress was pretty clingy and they were not comfortable at all, but did the job. I wish I had thought of it in time to order the maternity spanx!

Agreed - no way I could stand them. I have a pair of maternity "shaper panties" from Motherhood that are pretty comfortable and do the job.
