NPR: Expired OTC meds - toss 'em? Need to empty my+

closet out - it's getting insane.  Alot of them are cold/flu type meds.  Thanks.

    It depends on how expired. If it's by less than a year, I usually keep them. Anything longer than that, I toss. They just may not work as well after they're expired.
