I just purchased a booster seat for my DD. It was half price, and they sold out shortly after I picked mine up.
When I got opened it up, it was obvious that it had already been opened and returned to the store. It looks fine, but the fact that someone else had it makes me nervous (could it have been damaged or in an accident, etc).
I am debating if I should return it, and forfeit the great sale by having to buy it elsewhere? I absolutely HATE my dd's current booster seat and could only justify the purchase of a new one because of the great price.
Also, it has a manufacture date of March 2010. Doesn't that seem like a long time for it to be in stock at Toys R Us?
Re: Would you use this booster?
It's was this one:

The seat was loose in a plastic bag, the tags were pulled off (but still included in the box). It didn't look like there should have been any other plastic over the seat. It is perfectly clean and definitely does not look used. You can see where they screwed on one of the armrests, the other one wasn't screwed on.
Thx. I will call them, but I have a feeling they were on clearance, as they weren't giving rainchecks when they ran out.

Yeah, I am going to exchange for a new one if I can. If I can't, I am just going to use it.
