I am having a heck of a time keeping her hands and feet warm enough. It's sometimes in the low 30s when we run. I put on layer after layer of fleece, mittens, and cover with a thick wool blanket.
I use an outfit similar to a sleepsack with a hood and mittens attached so the body heat goes right into the hand part as well, with a fitted hat under the hood. Underneath he wears a fleece sleep & cotton onsie. Then I pile a heavy wool blanket ontop! With the screen down to keep the wind out I find he is always toasty warm when we get back. I put some vaseline on his cheeks if it is goign to be really cold too.
I don't really think its fair to take a baby out running in weather like that. She's not going to warm up like you would since you're the one doing the running. I take DD for a daily walk. She wears a snow suit and I put on a wind guard.

Holy I feel mean! Our limit is 4 (-10C, we are in Ontario) but we wouldn't go anywhere if we didn't brave the weather. We dress accordingly & Cole loves being out there as long as he is tucked away from the wind!
Re: What does baby wear in the jogging stroller in winter?
40 degrees is our limit, and we wear this:
(With the built-in mitten folded over their hands.)
