I think I read that babies need to be 8# before you should wear then. I have a ring sling and a moby, but my LO is only 6# 9 oz.  Should I wait to wear him, he wants to be held all the time.  Thanks!

I wore my son from birth (5lb 12oz at birth, 5lb 1oz when we got home). I just avoided the cradle hold. He was safe and happy in a tummy to tummy position in both my RS and Moby.

I don't see why it would matter with the Moby.  One of my best memories from the NB days is having him bundled up on my chest.  He didn't weight 8 pounds until he was 6 weeks old and I definitely wore him before that.

LO is probably up to 8 lbs now, but I am not sure. We've been wearing him since day 1 in the Moby or woven. He was 6.12 at birth, but went down  to 6.2 and gained it back slowly. I will say that even now he seems too small/floppy for a sling.
