Popping in to say Hello!

Hi ladies,

I've seen so many babies turning 1 on facebook so I wanted to pop in and say hello!  I hope everyone is doing well!

We're doing pretty fantastic.  Elyse is amazing, I can't believe I was ever sad for her to get older.  I love the toddler phase.  She has mastered walking over the last couple days so now she's decided that running away from me is a fun game. 

MH has gotten a promotion so we'll be moving in the next few months.  It's a fantastic oob opportunity, but we'll be moving to a township that has a population of under 4000.  It has potential to be a great adventure... at least that's how I'm trying to think of it.

Hi Teri! So nice to see you here! Congrats on Elyse's big milestone! Libby is walking now too, but not all the time. She still thinks crawling is faster! But I am sure the day is coming she wises up and realizes that RUNNING is best! LOL! Yowza on the big move...4,000 people? Ay, ay! I don't think I could do it. How close is it to a bigger town or city? Will you WAHM or SAHM? It will definitely be an adventure!

We've missed you! Congrats on E's milestone! Can't believe she's running already Congrats also on YH's promotion! Hope the move goes smoothly!

They only have one daycare centre that takes kids 2.5 years and older.  Right now the wait list is currently 40 kids long.  As an alternative many people in the community hire nannies.  So at first I'll be SAH, we'll see what happens when we move there.

wow, that will be quite an adjustment, good luck.  I kind of like small town life!

somehow i missed this post! glad you stopped in say to hi congrats on the promotion for DH and GL w/the move and transition.... it sounds like you could make good money doing in home daycare for some of the kids in the town

Wow - this makes me feel better about our daycare situation! Although the wait list at many places is similar, at least they take younger kids.
