officially starting to temp tomorrow...

Well, i am pretty sure that tomorrow will be CD1.  I wanted to convince myself earlier in the week that I may be pregnant but I am fairly certain this cycle is not the one for us.  With that being said, i am going to start temping tomorrow and will be joining you ladies on FF to see what its all about.  My OBGYN mentioned using OPKs but i am kind of cheap and don't want to invest in those quite yet.  I am sure I will have lots of questions and I appreciate all of your help!  Thanks ahead of time!

Well welcome to the FF club! OPKs just help you pinpoint ovulation, after a couple of months of charting, usually you will figure out when you are about to O.  Good luck!

You should definitly consider reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" as well. It can definitly help you understand the basics (and much more). I was able to find a copy at the library the first time I read it (I've since bought my own copy).
