Regular vs Premium prefolds

Which do you use on your 1 y/o? DS is just outgrowing his infant prefolds and we want to size up. Do you need the extra absorbency during the day? We typically add a doubler to them, would this make that unnecessary? TIA!

    We started out with premium sized prefolds from little lions when DD was 4-5 months old - they were bulky at first but still fit her at 2 years old. GMD red/brown edge might be good for you too (we never tried them in larger sizes).

    DS is almost the same age and is just outgrowing his infant prefolds too. I'm sizing up into GMD red edges. Premium prefolds are still pretty big on him.
