I tried to get my peri records yesterday but the Tuesday growth scan wasn't in the med records system yet. I called the OB to get a copy & they actually hadn't received it yet. No wonder the dr thinks i'm psycho, he hasn't seen the report lol.
So I had peri refax it over. The OB called this morning, saying that he just got the report and wanted to talk to me. He said her stomach was very very small (like not on the growth chart) but that her overall % was 23. He also said that while she is bordering IUGR that she would have asymmetrical IUGR because her head is still somewhat normal size and that was the better iugr to have.
I told him I was concerned because I thought I saw the screen say that her umbilical artery flow was over 5 and that I knew over 3 was considered not good. He said that it was a little high, but had no reverse flow. He said that he understood my concern of waiting 3 more weeks and possibly find out she hadn't grown at all. But that, they really needed a little bit of space in between to get an idea of if she was or wasn't going to grow or not.
So, Feb 28th is my next growth scan, and baring everything goes well between now & then (no reverse flow on BPP or a higher umbilical artery # or significant drop in fluid). If she is below 20th percentile they will induce me.
I'm so glad he called and addressed my concerns, I told him I didn't want to risk another in-utero stroke from the lack of oxygen through the umbilical cord & he completely understood where I was coming from. They did do a factor Xa to check my lovenox levels last Tuesday so I should find that out on Monday.
Thanks for all of the support & I will try to keep updating. (It's taken me all day to do this post!)
Re: My OB called this morning..
Even though it sounds like things aren't exactly looking bright in the growth area it does sound good that there was no reverse flow on the umbilical artery. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
