NTTC: I lost all self respect tonight

After spending the day in the er for what turned out to be kidney stones (some of the worst pain I have ever experienced!) I went straight to Walmart after getting released to pick up my meds.

I checked into the hospital around 5:15am and I was still in my pj's! I was in to much pain to change that I said "screw it" and left wearing my pj's! So when I went to Walmart I was still wearing the same pj's! Yup, green plaid flannel pj's and a sweatshirt. AND the icing on the cake? I wasn't wearing a bra!  

Flannel pj's and no bra at Walmart. Can you say klassy lady?

I say good for you! Who cares how you look when you are in that much pain? Besides, you fit in better with the other folks @ Walmart!  Hope you feel better soon!

Ouch - sorry about the kidney stones - I hope you are feeling better. 

I am also guilty of going to the store in a sweatshirt with no bra - sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do:)

oh no!! I'm so sorry you had kidney stones - i have had many of them and they are horrible!  Beware- they are more common when you are pg... so when you do get pg - you should really do everything you can to avoid (being over-hydrated, eating a low oxalate diet, etc).

as for the Walmart- please- you do realize that 1/2 the people there are dressed like that, right??   You just blended right in

Something tells me you weren't the first person to go into Walmart in your pjs...today.

Sucks on the kidney stones - I had a kidney infection once and it was SO painful.  I hope you got good meds and feel better soon!

really, you probably weren't underdressed enough. were you wearing slippers too? that would have completed the outfit.

As someone who has chronic kidney stones...I say who care about what you looked like!! Thank god it passed without any complications, but sorry you had to deal with that awful pain!
