Anyone have an architect recommendation?

We are thinking about putting a two-story addition on our house.  DH has already done drawings for us on graph paper with what we would like to do but our mortgage company will require a certified architect's plan before moving forward.  So while we don't necessarily need an architect to design the whole project for us, it would be nice to get their professional opinion on what we've come up with. 

Does anyone know a good architect that we could use for a project of this type?  Or even if you know of an architect to stay away from, that would be helpful as well.  Also, does anyone have any idea what price an architect would even charge?
