I'm back from getting boudoir pics done.

I had a great experience!  And I'll say that I used to roll my eyes at ANTM but it's not easy being in front of the camera.  It was a push to get comfortable enough to relax and I think I could do it better the next time, only there won't be a next time.

Fantastic!  Really, they look so good... sexy but totally tasteful.  I sort of thought B pics were going to be scanky but they're not that at all.  I'm dying to hear his reaction when you give them to him.

They look great! You are brave! I dont really know much about this type of photography. What do you do, make an appointment and bring lingerie to wear? Do they pose you? Are you clothed the entire time? Do you get the pics when you are done? Sorry for all the ques., just dont know anyone that has had them taken.

Yes, you make an appointment.  A lot of photogs do it your house, a hotel, or they may have a studio.  Mine had a studio, though it was a bit far for me, still nice.

I bought a few outfits and we went through them together, and she shot me for 90 minutes.  She had 2 rooms and different pieces of furniture.

My photog was a woman, so I was comfortable in my underwear in front of her.

I pick the pics I want and she keeps the digitals.

As far as posing, she came up with most, if not all.  I wish I'd studied more poses before I went in but, hey, I had no idea!!

My good friend is an amazing photographer and had a Boudoir event recently where she booked a presidential suite in a hotel and booked sessions 2 hrs apart.  She had a make up artist there as well. 

I am not at all at my goal weight, nor do I have a pre-baby body, but it was an amazing experience.  My husband LOVES them! 

I had a book made with my pictures to give to DH.  My friend also has a lot of clients that order poster size for their DH's "man cave" or calanders with the pictures.

I did boudair pics as a wedding gift for my hubby. I made them into a book and gave them to his brother to give to him right before the wedding, wrapped up of course. After the ceremony the first thing he said to me was, "The photographer was a woman right, and no one else has seen these?" DUH, Im so so shy, the photo shoot was very difficult at first, then the champagne kicked in and I was a little more comfortable. He was absolutley surprised and loved them, totally unexpected. Im not very outwardly sexually, I think thats what made them even more exciting. Totally not something he would ever expect me to do.

This is why I moved back to Ohio. I couldn't compete with winery's hotness.
