Funny story about my FIL

We told the ILs this past weekend about the pregnancy. To do it, we wrapped up "grandparent"onesies for each of them and gave them the presents after dinner. My FIL, who has been quiet about it, but has wanted grandchildren for eons, thought it was a dog shirt. A dog shirt!! He couldn't understand why we'd make such a spectacle of announcing that we were getting a dog.

After he figured it out, he was thrilled. He was quiet the rest of the evening, but his eyes kept "leaking" all during dessert and afterwards. So freaking sweet.

Awwwww!!! That's so fun and cute that he was "leaking." How exciting to be able to share such wonderful news! My baby brother beat me in providing the "first" grandchildren to my parents (twice, actually!). They had the first grand baby for both my parents and my SIL's parents.

NOt really related but I just think this is insane....my SIL (April) has 2 brothers. Between the 3 of them and their spouses, by August of this year her parents will have 9 grandchildren under the age of 4.5. 9!!!! They just keep poppin' them out back-to-back-to-back-to-back!

Hehehe, this same thing happened to my best friend when she told her in-laws with a onsie (they have 2 small dogs so the parents thought it was for the pups), LoL. Too cute! So sweet that he was having "leaky" eyes!
