Prestuffing...

We're going to start using our BG's soon... so I was wondering, are you prestuffing your pockets and are you using just the newborn insert or are you doubling up? Did you do some of each? Thanks ladies!

Also  how long on average are you going between diaper changes?

I pretty much always prestuff, unless I'm having a particularly difficult week with DS. I have always used a larger insert (I bought my BG 3.0s used) and have continued to do so. I don't like to go longer than two hours during the day. Typically I change when he wakes up for the day or from a nap, then right before naps. I usually will change him right before we go out. Of course if he poops he gets changed immediately.

I always pre-stuff. We just use a single insert unless it's bedtime so it's pretty simple. If I didn't pre-stuff and my DH had to figure out what insert use on what diaper it would be a disaster.

 

I change every 2 hours except for poop and for the first diaper in the morning. That one only goes 1 hour because she pees a lot when she wakes up.

I prestuff as they come out of the dryer.  I use the regular insert with a newborn attached for all of them.  I like to change every two with fitteds and every 3 with pockets.

Prestuff out of the dryer and mine have the BG onesize snap down insert so that is all I use. I change every couple of hours with the new babe and DD only gets change a couple of times a day since she is over 2 and close to PL (she holds it longer)

I just started using our BG 4.0 pockets this week. LO is 6 weeks old. I have been stuffing them before I put them away and using just the newborn insert. She is not a heavy wetter yet though. I change her every couple of hours or when she wakes from a nap or sooner if she poops. I think if I was to use one overnight I would use the bigger insert though.

I stuff when I'm putting away all the clean dipes.  I just put a basic insert in; if I need something more absorbent I add it in when getting ready to use the dipe.  I usually change her every 2-3 hours.
