Need OB recommendations

I'm 14 weeks along and just found out my OB is closing his office so I have to find a new one, any recommendations?  Looking for smaller practices, not larger group practices.  Thanks for your replies!

I see the docs at Group Health in Kenwood and love them - Dr. Buckley, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Badawi- I love them and they have an office in Mason as well.

I see Dr. Bowen in Springdale and love him.  I hear nothing but rave reviews about him.  He is very natural birth friendly as well which is why I am going to him.  There is one other doctor and a nurse practitioner in the office.  They deliver at Mercy Fairfield and Bethesda North.  HTH!

I love love love my docs at Mt. Auburn Women's Center. My favorites are Fitzgerald, Wendel an Javaid. They deliver at Christ. I just had my baby on Monday and honestly wish they were pediatricians and regular doctors too, because I'd never go anywhere else. They also have a couple of locations that might be closer to you.

I love love love my docs at Mt. Auburn Women's Center. My favorites are Fitzgerald, Wendel an Javaid. They deliver at Christ. I just had my baby on Monday and honestly wish they were pediatricians and regular doctors too, because I'd never go anywhere else. They also have a couple of locations that might be closer to you.

I 2nd Mt Auburn, but I prefer other doctors there.  Fitzgerald is great very friendly and I also like Dr. White.  Dr.  Cirasole delivered by baby.  I somehow made my rotation through all the doctors through my pregnancy but missed Dr. Cirasole.  They told me she was on call and I was like, who is that???  lol  She is so nice and very upbeat, so I decided to go back to her for my other visits. 

I prefer the Mason office over the Montgomery office, but two ladies I know that also go there prefer the Montgomery office. 

It stinks you have to find a new doctor, but Congrats!! on the baby :-)

I go to Dr. David Schwartz - he practices out of Christ Hospital- so nice and friendly and you can email him questions and concerns and he gets right back to you.

I must say that I didn't care for Mt. Auburn. Their practice was way to big for me. They were nice but the same Dr hardly sees you twice!

I changed Dr's with my second pregnancy and I was with Dr. Schwartz down in Christ's Medical Building, he is the only Dr, and I much preferred it. I love Christ hospital for delivering (DD), they were also great when I had my miscarriage (2nd preg).

Hear hear!!  Dr S and his office are wonderful. My sister goes to them too and had trouble conceiving- they tried everything they could to help her and BIL within the limits of insurance and budget. When they got pregnant naturally and went in for a blood test-  he ran out to the waiting room to hug them when his nurses told him. 

I have referred at least 5 of my friends to him.

And I 2nd that Christ is awesome for L&D, etc.

3 votes for them, but I usually stuck with Dr. Fitzgerald and Wendel. I did the mandatory 1 visit with each of the docs but had no troubles sticking with F and W. Dr. D delivered my first and Dr. We delivered my second.

I too wish they were pedis and regular docs too.
