Possibly Flameable

Honest answer please...I can handle it.  I am starting Lupron tomorrow night and most likely Follistim next Thursday.  My question is do I have my last cocktail tonight or next Wednesday? As always, thanks ladies!

    My RE said you could drink moderately until you start stimming. I chose not to drink starting a month prior to Lupron out of paranoia that I would kill my eggs. But I'm a natural worrier. I would do whatever makes you comfortable.

    My RE said the same thing, but I don't want to risk anything.  I am spending way too much money.  I too am a worry wart!  Good luck!

    IVF #2.2 for Feb '11 - Gonal-f, Repronex, and Ganirelix
    ER - 2/24 (8 retrieved), ET - 3/1 (2 transferred with ICSI), froze 3, Beta 3/11 = BFFN
    FET - 4/19 (3 transferred), Beta 4/28 = BFP, EDD 1/4/12

    Hmmm...good question.  I think you would be good next Wednesday as long as you didn't get rip roaring drunk.  I would probably have one tonight and then next Wednesday too.  I miss beer, terribly.

    Tonight... just to be on the safe side! Good luck mama!!! I am enjoying TWO cups of coffee today since I know as of transfer (Monday) I'm caffeine free... hopefully for a while!
    DS #1 born 11/23/06 - our IVF miracle! Missing our sweet baby who was spontaneously conceived. 20 week loss on 6/24/10. DS #2 born 10/22/11 at 38w1d after FET #1. Life is GOOD!!!!!

    Thank you so much ladies.  I should add that I am not a drunken lush or anything, but I do enjoy having a cocktail here and there.  I did have a margarita last night and I may possibly have a glass of wine on Saturday night date night.  Then I hope to be on a VERY long hiatus!
