Since having 2 losses last year, I have been super anxious about trying again. Both the OBs I went to last year wouldn't do testing because they don't feel there is anything wrong until 3 losses and also because I have a living child. Seriously, there is no way I want to sit around and just hope a 3rd loss doesn't occur the next time I get pregnant!
Since my insurance doesn't require a referral to specialists, it's been weighing on my heart and mind to go to an RE. I looked up who is covered under my insurance and found Dr. Griffith at Houston Fertility Institute (I'll be going to the Willowbrook location).
I have an appointment on Monday and I'm just curious if anyone has used him before and what to expect at a consult visit?
Thanks!
Re: Dr. Griffith @ Houston Fertility Institute? (m/c ment)
Sorry, I'm not familiar with that Dr but I wanted to say good luck. I'm really sorry that you're having to go through this. I haven't had any miscarriages and I still feel like its very emotional. I can't imagine how much harder it would be if I had a miscarriage. I would definitely see an RE. I've been seeing Dr McKenzie at Houston IVF (Memorial City area) and she's great. Hopefully the RE will be able to help you.
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
No heartbeat at 10w6d
FET August 27,2012 = BFP!
It's a boy!
