Twitching Knee

Last night while laying down my knee would NOT stop twitching. It was moving the blanket it was twitching so bad. When I would touch it I felt a muscle spasming out of control. It was so annoying and wouldn't go away until I massaged my leg and knee for like 15 minutes.

Pregnancy related? Anyone else twitching?

I've gotten more charlie horses lately...but not having actual twitching.

Every now and then the muscles on my legs twitch when I sit down for too long. I have heard that as your uterus expands it can push on the nerves in your lower back and cause leg/back pain and twitching.

My doctor told me to watch out for muscle twitching and cramping because it could mean you are low on some minerals like calcium or potassium.  If you are taking a pre-natal, probably not the case though.

I was worried about that being the case but it wasn't at all cramping and I take calcium in addition to my PNV's, since most(including mine) PNV's don't have enough calcium since it is so bulky and they are massive to begin with.
