Do you carry 2 carseats?

I just had this image of bringing 2 babies into the pediatrician and my 4.5 year old (he'll be easy, though I usually have him hold my hand in parking lots. Maybe he can hold one side of a carseat?), and I was trying to think whether it's possible to wrangle 2 infant seats.  Or do you do one in a carrier and one in a seat (but then you can't set one down easily)?  Or do you use the DSNG? 

I'll have my pack mule (DH) for about 3 weeks, at least...

Hi & congrats to you!!  I carried them in the carseats everywhere.  I found it to be easiest b/c I could set them on the ground when needed & do something else.

I really only carried the car seats from the house to the car and vice-versa, or going into a friend's house. If I was going into the pedi's office, a store, or even church (since I was on my own and those things get heavy!) I used the DSNG.

Someone carries two and someone carries one.  Our triple stroller doesn't fit in the pedi's waiting room.  I would use the DSNG if I were you.

I don't take them out by myself much now that I'm back to work and it's so cold, but when I do I carry both carseats, but I don't think I'll be able to do it much longer with 32 lbs of baby plus the carseats!!

I used the DSNG or carried one in the carseat and one in a bjorn but most times (esp. in the winter months) it was easiest to keep them bundled in their car seats and just use the DSNG--it's narrow enough to fit through most doors/ dr. office rooms.

I have a DSNG but i haven't used it yet because it's just so cold outside (we only go to dr apts). I just carry both car seats. Once spring time hits though and we are out more, then I'll use the DSNG when I go into places.

I use the DSNG if I'm alone, or I carry one baby if DH is with me.

Most places dont have the handicapped access doors and it's too hard to get through a door carrying two seats without those buttons.

Plus the DSNG is really easy to set up/break down!

If I'm alone (rare - I'm scared of taking them out by myself and actually getting out of the car), it's the DSNG.  Even if I have someone with me, we sometimes take the DSNG.  It was just at the last Dr.'s appt that we didn't use the stroller.

I normally carry both carseats. The doctor's office is a different story though. I usually book the appointments around my pack mule's (hahahaha - love it) work schedule. He doesn't work Fridays. Our double stroller is too big for the office.

We're at 7 months, and I still carry them both.  I don't go many places besides in and out of daycare, to the pedi, or places with carts alone though.  I recommend getting a backpack diaper bag and use the handicap automatic door openers.

I do. I will carry both, still in infant seats and carry one in each arm. Sometimes I will do a two trips- from driveway to house. Docs office, If alone, I carry both but DH is normally with me.

Ditto this! I will say it is getting much harder to maneuver now that they are both going on 20lbs, but I still manage. We never really carried just their seats...always had the DSNG.

LOL @ DH being a "pack mule". Since the DSNG is getting harder to maneuver, I usually make my "pack mule" push it when we're out.

It just kind of depends. For church I carry the carseats, DH carries our tot, and the rest of the kids walk. For pedi appts. we usually bring the DSNG and park it in the room. You can tell the nurses and Dr. get irritated b/c they have to walk around it but tough crap, it's easier for us. At the grocery store I always have DH come with me and we bring the DSNG or we'll put all 4 kids in the quad.
