Beco issue

So DS often falls asleep when I'm wearing him.  I usually put him on my back in the Beco (since I suck the suck at wrapping) while I'm cooking dinner if he needs to rest.  A lot of times when he falls asleep his head flops back.  The base of his neck is somewhat supported by the top of the Beco, but it still worries me.  Is this normal?  Am I putting him in wrong?

Re: Beco issue

  • This will happen with DD sometimes but usually if I lean over a bit she will lean her head into me. What you can do (and I usually forget to) is put the sleeping hood on before you put him on. Then you can try and wiggle and reach to snap the hood up once he falls asleep.

Agreed.  I had to LOL because I'm pretty certain I posted the exact same thing when M was 6-7 months old (sleep during dinner prep and everything!)  I had just completely forgotten we even owned the sleep hood.
