heart monitor...soooo uncomfortable! PIP

So I had to go see a cardiologist today because I have had some heart palpitations. I have had them in the past, but they have felt worse since being pregnant, so my midwife wanted me to be safe and get it checked out. So anyway here is a pic of me all hooked up...NOT comfortable at all, and not very stylish either lol

Be lucky you didn't have to have one of these monitors around 15 years go...there were a lot more leads and the nodes were a lot stickier. I've had a bunch of these and they keep getting smaller and with less leads each year haha. Hope all goes well with your heart and LO!

I have one on today too! So embarassing, glad I did my shopping BEFORE the appt!

Booo!  I had to wear a CardioNet (type of portable heart monitor) for 3 weeks in the middle of the summer.  I agree that they're super uncomfortable.  Luckily at 8+ months pregnant you aren't going to be rolling around much in your sleep. I woke up with the cords and pack wrapped around my neck one night.  Scared the tar out of DH and me.

I've had to wear one before too.  I had to wear it a few days and got it put on the day before doing Bowl For Kids Sake.  It was not fun to bowl with!

I was there, too.  I had to wear a Holter monitor for a month when I had heart palpitations. Ick. I think I have an allergy to the sticky stuff on the leads.  No fun.  Hope all goes well.

I love the PIP! It's hysterical!! I had forgotten about how silly those things felt. I had to wear one 3+ years ago and it was not big deal. Glad when I got it off, though. Hopefully the palptations are just a normal pregnancy thing. Take care!!!
