before i was sporting this growing bump my go-to carrier around the house was my RS but its pretty impossible at this point for either of us to be comfortable with the usual hip carry we loved.
we have prettymuch stopped with the babywearing. lately though he has had some horrible seperation anxiety, i cant put him down without a loud screamfest/meltdown. I tried the RS again and it was a total fail.
I also have an ergo but would need to get the extension things to accomodate the belly, and could possibly borrow a woven from a friend if i thought it might help.
are there any carries i can do while hugely pregnant that might work with any of these carriers?
if it helps ds is about 25lbs and we have not done back carries in anything besides the ergo before.
Re: pg and wearing a toddler?
I've been using mei tais and woven wraps and tying above my bump - both work fine. A mei tai is probably easier to learn at this point since you won't have to figure out wrapping while 8 months pregnant ;-) The Kozy is an easy to find not so pricey option that works for toddlers (and for newborns!).
You can do a back carry with a toddler in a ring sling but I've not given it a go - you could find directions on thebabywearer.com though!
