The spooky small world of The Bump

I have recently learned that on October 21, 1995 KarmaKP, Miller, and I were all at the same place - namely, my brother's wedding. (Cue Twilight Zone theme now).

I hope those ladies don't mind my outing them.  

How small is YOUR Bump world?

We've talked about it here before but, a couple years ago Mrs.Babbsy and I discovered that:

1) We are cousins

2) She and Ben both were working at the same company (at that time)

3) We lived right down the road from each other (at that time)

4) We held the same job in high school

5) We went to the same college and graduated with the same degree (even the same minor)

And we found this out from one of the national boards, not even the Cinci board!

Small world indeed

Oh, and I discovered Adamsbabble and I have a few little connections as well... her brother is married to my cousin, we all went to the same high school and her DH and my DH went to high school together.

Both shawnsweetie and vbmeg went to the same HS as me though we gradauted different years. shawnssweetie graduated with my brother and my high school boyfriend plus vbmeg is friends of an old HS friend's sister (got that?). I have known JessicaandBrett since our knot days.

brownbride07 - is married to a college friend of mine. I think we actually met once at a football game, prior to realizing we were on the board together

jerseygirl - lives across the street from my sister's house. Well, the house my sister lived in before she moved to Iowa. And is friends w/ another friend from college

Here is mine..

Soon2bHiker and I are good friends with the same person. She has a special bond with a 4 year old  who I watched being born (one of my best friends daughters)...I see her at all kinds of parties and gatherings. She is a peach in real life!

Adamsbabble and I have been going to the same church for a few years without ever realizing it or running into each other (she saw some of my wedding pics on FB and realized that her pastor is my pastor)

Miller and I went to the same high school but she graduated a few years before me, the same class as my older sister.

MsMandaK and I volunteer at the same pregnancy care center that my MIL is the director of.

Not quite as crazy connections as some of you but still a pretty small world :-)

On my first day back in Cincinnati, I ran into Thor at Target of all places - not the most convenient one from either of our houses, and we recognized each other even though we had never met.

Natibride (I don't know if she posts on here) and I ran into each other in the elevator at Christ after our 6 week appointments, after teasing back in 3T that we'd meet in the hallway in L&D.

JLPT830 is friends with one of my former co-workers, which I found out from FB

I have noticed several bumpies with mutual non-bumpie friends. Too many to name. Beyond that, Dani use to have a gradeschool crush on my college boyfriend. JLPT and I recently found out that my college roomie and her high school crush once dated (and he was just on a tv show;-). And there is a nestie (not sure if she is a bumpie yet) that I am 99% sure bought our old house but we didn't realize it at the time.
