I am expecting #2 in June. Our 22 month old son still co-sleeps with us fulltime. I don't see that changing anytime soon. He sleeps between me and DH. We plan to sleep with the new baby too, but I need a co-sleeper alongside (attached to?) the bed so that I'll always be between the kids (for safety reasons).
Space isn't really an issue - we're moving around the time baby's due into a house with a nice size master BR. Since we're long time co-sleepers with DS and I assume we'll do the same with this babe, I'd prefer to get a bigger model that has a heavier weight limit.
Any other suggestions? I've also seen the Ikea Gulliver crib sidecarred to a bed, which I guess is another option.....
Thoughts? Experiences?
Thanks so much!
Re: Best Arm's Reach sleeper for us?
I have the full size original and love it - its can convert to a play-pen and then I plan on using it for toy or stuffed animal storage once my babies grow out of it completely.
Even though its a bit heavier than a pack and play we use it on the road for trip away from home. And we have found it works as a changing table too.
