Hypertension question.

I have high blood pressure, and my OB believes that it may be pregnancy induced although it started at the beginning of my pregnancy. Ever since I was put on Aldomet 250 mg twice per day, I've had anxiety about my blood pressure. I'm worried about the possibility of being induced and my blood pressure rising, resulting in c-section. So my question to you second time moms is, how was your blood pressure during labor? If you were induced did the pitocin raise your pressure? And how did your doctors control it during labor? I've read that getting an epidural can sometimes help with pain management, thus lowering blood pressure. Any truth to that for you? Thanks in advance for your answers, maybe this will help with some of the anxiety I've been feeling.
