VBAC

wanting a VBAC

I had my daughter November of 09 by c-section, the reason that they gave me was because she was not moving enough.  Her heart rate was fine and nothing else was going on except i was in labor for 18 hours.  They did not follow through with the plan of giving me potocin after the cervidil was finished.  I would like to start trying for another one in august but i really really want a VBAC.  does anyone know of doctors that would do one around central pa.

Re: wanting a VBAC

  • Sorry I can't answer your question about doctors, but it sounds like you are a great candidate!  I'm sure with a little more poking around you'll find the right doctor/MW for you!  Good luck!

  • I'm going through the Geisinger Health System which seems to be VBAC friendly.  They even recently changed their policy to allow VBAC after 2 c-sections.

  • I'm at May Grant and Associates in Lancaster.  The midwives I have seen have all been supportive.  Women's Healthcare Group in York also allows VBACs.
