LOL!  Thanks, although I think my new bling will not start until 2000.  Not sure though.  But I am up for polls anytime!

Have things calmed down with your work schedule lately?  I hope so!

i thought it was 1,500, but i could totally be off. 

yes things have settled down at work for now although I do have two events this week.  The Open House I ran in Jan went really well and here are some pics of the event if you are interested.

I really wish I could be on vacation somewhere tropical.  I was looking at places in Mexico yesterday!

Favorite comfort food is chicken tenders and french fries, oh and fried okra!  Also love mac and cheese.  I am all about comfort food.

My favorite hot beverage is coffee.  I drink it every morning (decaf when cycling), but I have to drink coffee everyday!

Where would you rather be?

I'd rather be someplace in Europe walking around old towns and sitting in cafe sipping tea and red wine.  i'm not a big heat/beach person because I'm so pale and just fry in the sun.

Favorite vacation you have taken and why?

Def our honeymoon to Rome and a med. cruise.  So relaxing and the sights in Rome are just amazing!  And the food and wine were great too.

Where would your dream vacation be?

I have so many places I would love to go it is hard to pick just one.  But DH and I really want to go on a Scandinavian Cruise that stops at all the northern coutries.  i don't think i would be able to go to most of those places if I didn't do it in a cruise.

DH and I met in college when I was a freshman and he was a junior.  We worked together at a restaurant in the student center and finally got together at a drunken work christmas party.

and you are right, I guess it is 2,000, i don't know why I thought it was 1,500.  I guess just wishful thinking that we were closer to it than I hoped.  I felt like it took sooooo long to not be a newbie anymore, but i guess it will take a little longer.

I was so glad to get out of newbie status, but I did feel like it took a while.  

How are you doing?  How are you feeling?   What is your recovery time after this surgery?

i'm doing well, just wish it was march already so I can this started, but I have to have a hysterscopy sometime btw cd6-10 first, which will hopefully be next week. 

i am taking 12 days to recover after the surgery, so 7 days off work plus the weekends.  I will prob take it easy after i come back though too.

did you figure out what you are going to do with your cycle regarding the wedding?  i'm so sorry that is stressing you out.  it's not like we don't already have enough to worry about.

Best of luck with your hysterscopy next week. 

I am keeping everything crossed for a speedy and full recovery.  I hope you will take it easy once you get back to work. 

We are going to go ahead and cycle and I may miss the wedding.  We talked about it at length last night and we really need to do what is best for us.  DH will go to the cocktail party/wedding/reception and I will try to make it to the service.  If not, I am not worried about it.  I know this is the right decision for us.  Thanks for asking!

So, any books on your wishlist that you would like to read or want while you are recovering? 

I am on the 2nd Girl with... book and also reading the Help.  I finished Room in 1 afternoon, that was fantastic and highly recommend if you haven't read already.

i'm so glad to hear that you are going to cycle.  I think it is the best thing for you to do as well.  If your cousin was fully supportive of you I would say you may want to wait, but that doesn't seem to be the case, so i'm glad you are doing that.  this is going to be your cycle.

I LOVE reading! haha, as you can prob tell from my siggy.  I read the Help and am also reading the second Girl w/ as well.  I have not read Room yet, but am dying to and am on the waiting list at my library, but still far down the list. 

that is so sweet that you are thinking about me like that, but please don't go out of your way for me, I would love to do a paperback exchange or something with you with books we have already read.  I can let you know some read books I have that i can send your way.  let me know.
