I take my comment back. I'm loving some of the things on PBK. I kinda want pink. Which is funny, because I was never really into pink as a little girl.
And Jodi--I forgot Land of Nod! Off to check them out now.
My babies!!
Patrick Aydin, 9.24.07, and Alia Noor, 6.1.11
The selection at BRU and BBB made me so sad when I was looking. There's lots of cute stuff out there... just not at those stores lol! We ended up with PBK stuff that I love.
minnas--dwell--is that Target? I should check them out too.
and yup, my mom and aunt both sew for a living, but they do high-end stuff so I don't know how much time they'll have to sew a bedding set. But I'm liking the fabric on the wall idea...

they do carry some dwell at target but unfortch not the sparrows. I'll post a nursery pic. not much in there other than the rug and LOTS of lavender. haven't found the right wall pictures yet.
S is doing better--she's actually taking a nap now which she hasn't done in over a year. she also had her heart monitor on today so it's a double-whammy. thanks for asking MrsS.
Sisterly love--Sophia (1/14/07) and Baby Margaux (7/13/10)
Doctor in training!
I got the Hayley bedding from PBK...and I'm not really a girly-girl, so it surprises me that I went with the birds/owls and any pink! But, my requirement was that the bedding have some blue and green in it (walls are blue from the boys, and we have a green glider), with a bit of pink to be sure it looked somewhat girly...and this is what I found the first time I walked in the store. I have about 50% of the nursery done, but I'm a bit stalled out on the other side at the moment. Trying to figure out what to put on the wall over the dresser that isn't too matchy, as well as what kind of window treatment to have custom-made, again without being too matchy.
I have gotten all our bedding (two nurseries, and two big boy rooms so far) from PBK and been very happy with it all.
We had good luck w/ PBK, as well. I got the Brooke bedding.
One thing I've found w/ bedding for both my kids is that I need to find stuff elsewhere to decorate with because too matchy matchy annoys me. Etsy was a great resource with Scarlett.

Re: omg WHY is baby girl bedding so damn ugly?
www.landofnod.com has some super cute ones right now.
Modern - light gray walls and a darker gray throw rug (if there isn't carpeting in the bedroom)
https://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=167&f=7924
Cutesy -- light peach walls (could easily accent this one)
https://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=167&f=7924
Super girly -- pick a wall color, any wall color (accent w/framed vintage dresses and headless mannequin (not sure of name)!!!
https://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=167&f=7924
You Are My Sunshine - seriously, can you see it now? Light turquoise/pale green walls. Sunshine accents -- You Are My Sunshine in quotes on the wall.

Just plain sweet (in pink or purple)...again, pale green walls. More pink/purple accents

this is the one that we have... dwell sparrow, for baby M. hope you're feeling better!
LOVE the sparrows, Minnas!
Do you know anyone who sews? I bought fabric and had my mom make mine because I hated everything I could find in stores/online.
I do love this from PBK (and am a bit bitter it just came out since I originally wanted black/white/purple for the nursery)
Oh, I want to see pic of your nursery. It's super cute.
How is S?
