Hi New to the Bump

Hi,

 I have been readling the boards but this is my first time posting.

My DH and I have been TTC since March of 2009. We did our first IUI with injectables 1/19 and we received a BFP but the numbers were low, 12. I went yesterday 2/7 to see if the numbers went up and they did, but only to 24. I go back tomorrow 2/9 to see if they went up. The RE was calling it a chemical pregnancy since the numbers were low. But now they think it could be a tubal pregnancy. Has anyone else gone through the same thing? I'm looking for something to help put my mind at ease which way the pregnancy could go.

I'm sorry for ur stress.  How far apart were your betas?  They did double, prob that's why it may not be a chemical pregnancy.

The numbers are lower than they like to see, but thing that that have worked out here before...so u never know.  The low beta numbers may lead them to be concerned about etopic.

My first test was 2/3 (my mom's bday) and the second test was yesterday 2/7. If this works my EDD would be my FIL who passed in 2007. So we are really hoping this sticks.

They look for doubling of 48-72 hrs.  Did u have more than 1 follie?  Bc then there is also the poss of a vanishing twin.  GOOD LUCK!

They said I had 3 follicles. I had to do a second shot of Gonal before the IUI. And I'm still on the prometrium suppositories.

Unfortunately, IF is all about waiting.  Only time can tell, and that is so stressful.  Hopefully it will work out!

I had a c/p back in October. My first beta was 17, my second was 27, my third beta was 32 and from there is started falling.

Just an update. Got my numbers back today and they stayed the same. They are taking me off the prometrium and have to go back on Fri to see if the numbers went down. So as soon as I get AF I will start IUI #2.
