Pincer Grasp Question (BLW)

When do LOs learn to release the pincer grasp? DD can pick up food pretty easily but hasn't figured out how to get things into her mouth (smaller things like beans obviously...she is great at bigger stuff). She sucks at her hand and squishes everything but the smaller stuff doesn't actually get in her mouth unless I feed her. She gets annoyed easily so for right now I have just been letting her pickup/squish/suck on the smaller items while I feed her. This route is working for now but I was just curious on what age they figure out how to release!
