I think if you parted it more on the side and had a long side-swept bang, it would make just enough of a difference. Maybe even get some longer layers put in toward the bottom and wear it more straight vs curled under like the photo. For color, I think it would look nice in a lighter brown, maybe with a few caramel colored highlights.

Ha! My mom was just telling me to change my part yesterday when I saw her.
I just got the cutest cut! Of course it is a mess now and up so I can't pip (maybe by today or tomorrow if I remember). But I got side swept bangs that are piece-y. And I got some straight, stacked layering (idk how to describe it, but since my hair is thin and fine I can't do big layers because it just looks stringy).
I think you should definitely change your part to side, maybe add some bangs and a darker color. Red highlights would be cute in it too. You have a great smile!

I got my hair cut like Tina Fey's (in the black and white shirt) a while back and it was super cute and easy to style.
