day care recommendations Poughkeepsie/Wappingers area

Anyone know of good day cares in the Poughkeepsie/Wappingers area?  I am a teacher so when I go back to work in Sept. after summer break, I need a place for 1 day a week and more if my mother can't take the baby.  Any suggestions?

Tots'n'us has a really good rep and they are very reasonable.  they usually have a waiting list so I would call right away.  DD goes to Bright Horizons which we love, love, love. but it's pretty pricey compared to most others in the area.  I'm in Fishkill so the others I went to are in this area.  I would avoid The Lollipop Tree.  but Acorns to Oaks and Young Hearts are both very good also.  I just don't know if they would be too far for you.

from what I know of tots and us about the location, that's a 30 min ride from my house and in the wrong direction from where my husband and I work.  I'm closer to the spackenkill area

My boss's wife teaches at Spackenkill High and they had their kids at the St. Francis day care on Spackenkill Rd.  They absolutely loved it.  Bright Horizons is on the same grounds as Casperkill Country Club.  DD went to the East Fishkill location but I've heard good things about poughkeepsie too.

We use Neighborhood daycare..it's in wappingers. We love it there! When we were looking at daycare centers we also liked honey bee (off spakenkill) but it was full when needed it.
