What is up with early labor !?!?!

I never had any early labor signs or anything with Leo.  I was induced at 41 weeks. Now with this one it is a different story.  Every night I have been getting these period like back cramps that wrap around to the front.  Sometimes they come and go and sometimes they just stay.  I googled it, sounds like early labor.  Woo Hoo, nope!  Every morning I wake up just fine.  This has been going on for a week.  I know I should just be patient and let baby cook as long as he/she wants but I am super anxious to get this one out.  I have to make arrangements for Leo while in the hospital and my maternity leave blows this time.  I am going back April 1 no matter what, so earlier baby comes the more time I get.  Do you think these cramps mean anything?

From about 38 wks on I got cramps and even mild contractions in the evenings.  They'd last an hour or two and then go away.  Annoying.  Hopefully it means things are moving along for you.

Considering your [relatively] craptastic maternity leave situation, I hope it means baby makes an appearance sooner rather than later.  Good luck!
