I have mentioned a Kindle several times around Joe, and he has seen my sister's SIL's and thought it was cool. We had been talking about frivolous spending in Vegas (my BIL was trying to convince Joe to go in to Tiffany's and buy me a bracelet). And Joe had said "I would rather buy her a library....at least I know she would use it. She has those damn Pandora beads and David Yurman bracelet that she just HAD to have and she never wears them!" (He's right, I don't! BAD!) And buy library, he meant Kindle! Love that!
Anyway, so last night he said "I was thinking of getting you one of those reader things for Valentine's Day. So wait until (next door neighbor) gives me the money for moving her snow and you can order it!" YAY!
I have gone back and forth on getting one. I want one, but don't need one. And for some reason, the practical side of me has been winning the argument. But since he brought it up....hey, might as well, right!?
And now, I can't wait to get it!!!
(No point to this other than I'm on break at work and bored so there ya go!) LOL
Re: I'm pretty damn spoiled sometimes
I adore my Kindle. I kind of want to marry it.
Jeff got it for me for my birthday, which was pretty shocking. He's generally horrid at birthday gifts.
