TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Strep Throat and O day

Grr...Of course I got my +opk this morning!  Dh won't come near me, we've both een sick with some chest congestion cold, but mine turned into strep.  I am trying to convince him that I've been on meds for 24 hours now and I won't get him sick, but he's not having it.

Then it occured to me, I am on antibiotics!  Does that mean I shouldn't be trying anyway?  I'm not on clomid this month b/c dh is trying to sort out his testosterone and ED issues before I take my meds again so we are completely unmedicated...

What would TTCAL do?

Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

  • I say 24 hours on antibiotics means you can have "relations" with no fear of getting him sick. And when they put you on the antibiotics did you tell them you were trying? I've been on antibiotics lots of months when trying, also, they put you on them when doing IVF. It's just certain ones are safe and others aren't. You can ask your doc. if you're not sure.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
  • I really don't have any advice, but hope you can still get it on.  I say go for it!  Hopefully your H will agree.

  • 24 hours on antibiotics means you're safe.  But I'm at the point where I'll do anything possible, so I'd probably just put on one of those stupid masks if it would get him comfortable with making the deposit!  Doggy style works, too :)
