Re: Twin Baby Shower!!

  • Try googling twin baby showers.  There are a lot of ideas on there..."two peas in a pod", etc.

Hopefully you are not hosting your own baby shower.  You said "we" and "our" so I wasn't sure.  That is a no-no.

  • lol Actually my mom and sister are hosting for us. But I always have to have my hand in the pot, bad habit I know. lol So I guess Im just trying to do a little stirring!

  • My sister and 2 friends are throwing our baby shower.  We are also having b/g twins.  They are doing the "two peas in a pod theme".  She searched online and found a really cute invitation that had 2 pea heads sticking out of the pod.  The one head has a pink bow and the other squiggly hair.  The invitation was scalloped and had pink and blue dots.  It is really cute.

I don't really know much about the shower but I saw them making the favors this weekend.  They wrapped a twix candy bar (2/twin bars) with a wrapper. One side of the wrapper had the peas in the pod with the pink and blue dots the other side had serving size: two expectant parents and ingredients: lots of love, tons of kisses, sleepless night, never ending feedings, etc.  They then glued a hershey kiss to the top side of the bar to make it look like a bottle.

There are lots of options out there, just search for them.

U/S#1 showed 2 heartbeats! U/S#2 showed Baby A's heartbeat was 157 and Baby B 's heartbeat was 183! U/S#4 showed Baby A is a Boy (heartbeat 161) and Baby B is a Girl (heartbeat 159)!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers
  • I know what you mean about being "hand in the pot"...I'm a planner and it is hard for me to not "help".  lol

I went to a twins shower and they had a Noah's Ark theme that really emphasized 2 of every animal (lion and lioness, goose and gander, bull and cow).  I'd say I remember seeing several different animals (maybe 20 or more).  They used a "pair" as centerpieces and had about 15 or so tables.  It was really cute.

  • I love the Dr. Suess Thing 1 and Thing 2 theme for a twin shower. I also love the noah's ark thing with the two animals.
