Hysteroscopy scheduled for Friday

to remove this polyp.  I'm hoping once it's gone my body will get it's act together and we can start cycling. 

Anyone who's had this done care to share what it's like?

I had a hysteroscopy in September. They removed a muscle tumor.   I was out for the actual procedure, so I didn't feel a thing.  I woke up on my way to recovery.  I won't lie, I was in a lot of pain on the way to recovery.  However, within minutes, the nurses put some nice drugs in my IV and I felt much better.  They sent me home with a prescription for vicodin, but I never needed to take any.

I was in and out for the rest of the day on my couch.

I had one to remove a septum.

Same, I was better after IV drugs - actually I think I even went to breakfast afterward...   maybe not - maybe i am getting confused on  which procedure was which now... 

I think I just took ibuprophen after ...   I will say that in hindsight....  I do wish that I would have done the lap at the same time and gotten it over with in one swoop.   Though the lap is a bit longer recovery time.

Good luck sweetie.  My hysteroscopy was done while I had my lap so I don't remember anything about it.

I've had a hysteroscopy with polyps removed twice...the 1st was quite large. Recovery is not bad. A little crampiness the day of the procedure but I was back to normal the next day.

I just had that done a couple weeks ago.  It wasen't bad at all, I did wake up crampy so they gave me IV drugs & then for the rest of the day I was just drowsy.  The next day I was a little crampy, sore & bloated but felt really felt fine.  Good Luck!!
