Infant insert in bathtub question.

When did you stop using the infant mesh insert in the baby bath?

When he was about a month old.  I hated that thing!

At 4 months. LO started doing "baby crunches" at 3 months and we soon discovered this was her trying to sit up. She became very wiggly in the sling and could almost fully sit up in it by 4 months so we ditched it because it was useless.. She could sit fully unassisted for hours by 4 1/2 months and has been sitting ever since . We owned the sling for 1 month and I felt it was a waste of money in our case.

Around 5-6 weeks I think. Arden really likes to play and splash in the tub, so he has more fun without it.

Ours doesn't have one so...since birth?

ETA: Forgot to mention, ours came with a plastic insert and we bought a sponge like insert that we used till last month.

Yep. A little after one month. She hated baths when we used the sling, but the first bath we gave her without the sling was the first time we heard her laugh  (we didn't hear her laugh again for a week or so after that). She loves baths now.

We never used one but I had to have DH hold her while I washed her. Now that she can hold her head up I can do it without his help.

my dd started getting fussy iin the bath, and she loved baths. then i noticed that she was weighing the sling down so she was laying with the ledge that is made to support her without the sling digging into her back. we removed it and she was back to loving baths.
