Sunday Shredding Check In

Hello Goal Pants!!!

I could not resist and I had to try on my goal pants this morning and YAHOO...they fit perfectly!!!  I wore those pants at my wedding reception in 2006!  Thank you Jillian and my fellow shredders.  I have 4 more days of L3 and today was great.  I actually did a few new Natalie moves today and was feeling great.  I know it is tough to shred on Superbowl Sunday but if you do, you can indulge a little on all the good eats!

  • I will be joining you all tomorrow and am pretty excited! I've done the shred pre-pregnancy, but never completed it. I had good results with what I did do however. I will also be doing weight watchers in combination with the shred. Any helpful hints on eating/exercising for a VERY out of shape momma?!

  • I think the best advice is stick with it and don't judge by the scale but instead by how you feel and your new found endurance. If you are a numbers persons,  I also found taking measurements before I started to be helpful bc that reveals what the scale cannot.  Good luck and I cannot wait to hear about your progress!
  • I ran 5.5 miles today so no shred today.  Back to it tomorrow.  I must say that doing L3 the day before my long run was not good!  I was supposed to do 6.5 miles, but my legs hurt today!
  • Wow.  I am so jealous that you fit into your goal pants.  I am struggling to find pants that fit.  I only have 2 pairs that I know of that work right now.  My legs are so much more toned but its frustrating that pants that fit just a few weeks ago don't anymore.  I am hoping L3 starts to slim me down.

    I almost missed my workout today. I normally do it first thing but my LO was sick and demanded my attention all day.  I was able to workout after he went to bed though. I was supposed to start L3 today.  There were 6 moves that I could not do 100% (meaning I stopped short and missed a few reps).  I'm going to stay at L2 until I can master all but 2 moves full-out.  That's my goal anyway.

     I was going to skip today because I didn't have any time by myself to do it during the day and then the Super Bowl being on but pushed myself to do it after my LO went to bed and am so glad I did.  The few extra calories I ate today motivated me to go ahead and do it!  This was D13 and my 3rd day on L2 and I noticed a HUGE difference in my endurance from the first day of L2.  I'm still following along with Anita but I only missed 1 or 2 reps on just 2 or 3 of the moves the whole time as opposed to missing several reps on almost every move.  My cardio has improved the most while my weak point is the strength moves but I can see improvement there too. My weigh in day is tomorrow so I really hope I see progress there but I already know I've lost in inches so that's a good start.
