Estrace side effects

Hey Ladies,

As part of the treatment plan for my lack of ovulation/hypothalmic amenorrhea, my RE has me on 20 days of Estrace (estrogen) followed by 10 days of Provera to induce a period, which will allow him to do the required blood work. I have been taking the Estrace for a week now and am having awful side effects. Constant stomach pain (upper abdominal area), some minor lower abdominal cramping (no big deal), increased discharge (gross) and trouble peeing. Has anyone experienced these or other side effects while taking Estrace or is something else going on here?

I never attributed any of my side effects to Estrace.  I always related my cramping more to my PIO than anything else.  The trouble peeing part concerns me a bit because I remember reading that was a side effect you should call on.  As long as everything else is minor, then I think those are ok.  It's major pain that you need to be cautious with.

Thanks - I will keep an eye on it. I see my RE for an HSG on Thursday and will bring it up.
