Back from ER

Hi girls, I had my ER this morning, they got 26 eggs and 20 were mature so we're very pleased!  I think letting us coast the last few days made a world of difference.  They were pretty optimistic that we'd make it to a 5 day transfer, provided the OHSS stays away. 

The procedure went well, my clinic uses conscious sedation which I think is akin to torture but I pushed them to give me the max dose of drugs and while it was super painful during the procedure, I feel a million times better than IVF 1 already, I can already tell my recovery time will be way less.

I'm all snuggled in now on the couch with a big bowl of hamburger soup, some homemade biscuits.  If G had his way I would be strapped down to a desk while being forcefed gatorade but I have my limits!!  I'm alternative gatorade and water.  My RE also recommended miso soup so I'm thinking I'm going for a sushi lunch in the next couple of days!!

    Wow thats a great number!! Congrats and hope you make it to a 5 day transfer, with lots of frozen embies left over!!

    great news! sorry your ER was so uncomfortable, i hope you recover quickly.

    After 7 rounds of clomid and HcG, Three failed IUI's with an ectopic pregnancy, two shots of methotrextate, ER visits, breaks, low (3%) morphology One IVF cycle (lupron, gonal-F) that ended in another ectopic, more methotrexate, A Lap to disconnect both tubes, remove endo and a hydrosalphinx, . . .we are finally expecting TWINS from FET#1!
    1.11. 2011: Beginning FET cycle!
    3.11.11- FET! (DH's birthday!) 2 blasts transfered!
    3.20.11- BETA #1 BFP!!! 272! (9dp5dt)

    Fantastic!  I've been stalking the board to see how you've done.  I hated CS too, but I'm glad your docs at least gave you the good drugs :)  Hoping for a great recovery, awesome fert report and perfect embies!  Step one, done.

Jan/Feb 2010 1st IVF with ICSI-5 week chemical pregnancy :( Feb 2010-male infertility doc says DH's anatomy and blood work are normal so nothing he can do. :( FET July 2010-BFP!
