ER scheduled

I'm on day 9 of stims and feeling pretty uncomfortable. Follicle check today showed 17 with 4 dominates, RE wants one more day of meds to grow the others and an ER is scheduled for Tues.

I've been reading some of your post and notice that several of you say the bloat is the same or worse after ER. Why is that and how long does it last?




4 Clomid cycles BFN's,3 injectible cycles BFN, 3 failed IUI's
Hystroscopy to remove cysts 11/2010
IVF #1 with ICSI Graydon Dane born Oct. 23, 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks.
Surprise BFP 10/9/12. Blighted ovum at 8wks. D&C 11/1/12.
Surprise BFP#2 TWINS!!! Boy/Girl twins.

    I had my ER on Wednesday. To be honest, I have no idea where the bloat comes from after ER. But as for me, today is the first day that I've felt somewhat normal again.

    They say to keep drinking gatorade and water. I've had better luck with gatorade because water just goes right through me. I'm not really sure if it's that or if it just has taken time to get better. Still, the only day I was in the slightest bit of pain was the day of the ER, after that it was just uncomfortable bloating.

    Good luck!!  The reason the bloat is worse after ER is because your follicles release fluid after they ovulate so it can cause a lot of bloating.

     this. best of luck to you!! just drink tons of fluids. gatorade and high sodium fluids.
