Thanks for asking. The good and bad news is that they can do nothing for her. The e.Coli and Indian antibiotics basically stripped her GI Tract raw. She was given meds for nausea and cramping and instructed to take probiotics and eat a bland diet until it heals up..... it could take months. Ugh.

Aw.... poor dear

You know, I had c.diff. several years ago.  Probiotics were a major player in my recovery.  If she hasn't already she should take a trip to a health food store for some.  You can get different combinations of the species/strains and better concentrations than you can get with the few 'name brand' varieties they sell at the grocery. (ETA: you know... if they didn't prescribe her some already
