**kel716**

I have no idea if my husband replied to your husband's e-mail yet, but if he hasn't, please don't take it as his disinterest in the teaching job. He has been SO overworked this week and he's hardly had time to eat, let alone respond to non-work e-mails. He just finished working for the night about a half hour ago, and now he's passed out on the couch. Tongue Tied Obviously if the position needs to be filled expediently and you have other leads, go ahead. But, I do know my husband is interested.

  • We've soooo been there.

I don't know her timeline for hiring.  The only reason I knew about the job is because she popped in my husband's class last week and said "you don't happen to know anyone with a master's in math?"  So when she learned his wife was (me), she got excited.  Anyway, I emailed her last weekend, interviewed yesterday and was essentially hired on the spot (they have to run the paperwork).  So yay! I picked up a class for the summer and probably late spring, which is when things calm down for me with other things.

Anyway, the conversation led to her asking about accounting folks, and I thought I'd put it on here since her requirements are fairly detailed.  Thus, the post earlier this week.  So...  if he's still interested, I'd say pursue it, the worst she can say is they filled it.  And this is probably not the best time of year to try to find a cpa with extra time.
