DS broke his hand today
The teen, not the baby. He fell on ice walking to school today. The school nurse called me and told me what happened but that she thought he was fine and gave him some Advil and ice, so I said he could stay at school. He texted me later that it was really hurting so I left work early and took him to the Orthopaedic Urgent Care. Yup. It's broken. Poor kid. And I'm mad at myself for taking the nurses word that he was fine and not his.

that sucks! i broke my hand once too and couldn't write or drive my stick shift car.
i just saw an item on skymall.com that is a waterproof cover for casts so kids can take a bath or shower.
