How's everyone spending the superbowl?

Normally we go to a friend's house but no party this weekend, just hanging out spending a quiet day with our little man, watching the game and eating pizza...

Re: How's everyone spending the superbowl?

  • I am going to drive an hour round trip to another state to pick up our favorite Ribs and smoked wings from 17th Street BBQ and then we are going to stay home and stuff our faces. I am drooling already.

  • Hanging out at the house, eating homemade pulled pork sandwiches and vinegar slaw (and mac&cheese for the kids).  We were invited somewhere but I don't feel like heading out with kids in tow near their witching hour.

  • My parents are having a Superbowl party so we'll head over there.  We'll spend the day with great company, tons of yummy food, and the Packers going for the win.  Big Smile

  • Going out to breakfast with friends, then maybe hitting a park or something?  Neither of us are really sports people.

  • typically one of my cousins has a poker party during the superbowl. this year we're hosting so that Sabrina can go to bed like normal. i'm excited for the food and the commercials. it's going to be tough though since we got all that snow and parking sucks w/out the snow normally.

  • Sitting in the living room with DH eating fattening snacks.

If the Ravens had made it we would be hosting a party but we don't celebrate when the Steelers are involved. Go Packers!

  • DH is working Sunday night, so DS and I will be going to a friend's house for a Superbowl Party.  Same friend has been throwing a party for years, this will be my 19th year of going!  We will get there early and leave early.

Honestly, I go for the food and the commercials!

  • It will just be us girls watching the game at our house.   DH has to fly to Austin Sunday for a meeting. Since all my girls are bookworms, I'm not sure how much of the game they will watch.  I watch for the ads.

  • No superbowl for Sarah and I, we are just going to the playground tomorrow afternoon as usually. DH is watching with some friends. I am not interested in football and Sarah doesn't watch TV.

  • We were fortunate enough to get tickets to the game. In reality, I don't care the least about football. But DH is super excited so I am acting as if I am, too. :)
