Our 16/17 week appt. yay!

We just got back from our appointment! Although my DH tried to get them to show us the baby, we only got a heartbeat haha! 

She felt my belly and said that I am measuring right at 17 weeks, which is good and that based on the location and where everything seems to be I should be able to start feeling kicks within the next week or 2 (which makes me happy)

She went over her warning about not freaking out if she doesnt find the heartbeat right away, but as soon as she put the monitor on my belly the heartbeat was right there! She said it is nice and strong at 150.

Now the waiting game again until February 28th.

    Yay for a happy, healthy appointment.  I had my 16 week appt yesterday, and it sounds we had similar experiences :D.  HB for my LO was 164.  They also drew blood for the Quad Screen.  I go back on the 17th for my sonogram at 18wks5d.

    She said she'd start measuring where my fundus is at my 20 week appointment, when I commented that I felt it move up the other day she felt and said that it was exactly where it should be :D.

    Awesome! Yes we are very similar! I don't know if she gave us an exact heartbeat rate or if she was just rounding it. She just glanced and said it. I wish our anatomy scan was on the 17th! It seems so far away haha! 

    Have you felt any baby movement yet?

    Thanks! :) Yeah he tried to put on his magic, but it didn't work this time!

    I'm glad everyone seems to be hearing good news at all of their appointments :)

    That sounds exactly like ours, it was last night, and she put the wand right on the hb too.  It was nice bc last time it took FOREVER to find it and I was starting to freak out!  We find out the sex (crossing fingers for girl) March 2nd :)

    No, I haven't felt anything that I could definitely call baby movement.  When the doc asked, and I told her that, she said "It's still really early."  I am really excited to feel my LO move, hopefully soon!

    My belly is just starting to make an appearance.  It's noticeable to me and DH, but when I'm clothed most people still wouldn't be able to tell.   I haven't participated in HDBD yet because... well there isn't much to show.
